NOTICE OF TAX REVENUE INCREASE

The City of Dilley conducted public hearings on Sept. 10, 2009 and Sept. 15, 2009 on a proposal to increase the total tax reveues of the City of Dilley from properties on the tax roll in the preceding year by 8.04 percent.

The total tax revenue raised last year at last year's tax rate of .62862 for each $100 of taxable value was $277,752.

The total tax revenue proposed to be raised this year at the proposed tax rate of .67920 for each $100 of taxable value, excluding tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year, is $299,410.

The total tax reveue proposed to be raised this year at the proposed tax rate of .67920 for each $100 of taxable value, including tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year, is $303,868.

The City Council of the City of Dilley is scheduled to vote on the tax rate that will result in that tax increase at a public meeting to be held on September 22, 2009 at City Hall, Avant Building located @ 101 S. Commerce, PO Box 230, Dilley, Texas 78017 at 6:30 P.M.
